How to become fair

Home remedy for the treatment of photo dermatitis

It is common knowledge that sunlight can be very harmful for the skin. However, there are a few individuals whose skin is highly sensitive to the sunlight and react very badly when exposed to ultraviolet rays. The ultra violet rays emitted by the sun are classified primarily on their wavelength and the higher the wavelength, the more serious the reaction due to dermatitis. Most of the time, dermatitis will result in an outbreak of itchy, scaly, blistery or a reddening of the skin. The condition can be brought on by a number of factors. Factors like genetics, allergic reactions and medication all play their role in inflicting a person with photo dermatitis. People at a risk of developing the condition normally have fair skin, either blonde or red hair and people with green or blue eyes. People that are exposed to the sun are obviously at a higher risk, especially those exposed to it during the morning and afternoons when the sun is at its most destructive. Photo dermatitis is classified into two types; acute and chronic depending on the duration and regularity that it affects an individual. The more sever form of dermatitis will also show symptoms of fluid containing bubbles that appear to exist underneath the skin. Photo dermatitis can have long term effects like skin thickening, scarring and an increasing risk of skin cancer in patients where the root cause of the condition is genetics.

When treating photo dermatitis, create a solution of 20 drops of lavender and chamomile essential oil. This solution will help cool the affected area and reduce the itching as well. A warm shower will help increase the circulation in the affected areas of skin and also help exfoliation and removal of the dead skin cells, allowing newer skin cells to grow in its place. You can also create a mixture consisting of milk with grated cucumber and apply this over the affected area. Aloe vera gels have also had a tremendous effect on skin disorders including treatment of photo dermatitis. If you have extensive sun burns, apply raw onions over the affected areas for abundant relief from the pain. It is very important to take good care of your skin. Avoid going into the sun without sunscreen as it will act as a block from the harmful ultra violet rays. You should also avoid venturing into the sun between 9 a.m. and 2 p.m. as this is when the suns rays are most harmful
